Maira is a Wellcome Trust-funded Translational Neuroscience PhD student at the University of Edinburgh. Her research focuses on developing novel blood-based multi-omic biomarkers to monitor functional and cognitive decline, assess disease risk, and evaluate responses to interventions in aging populations.
